General Information
We are based in Rowledge, Farnham (GU10 4EB). We serve home users, students and small businesses across Farnham and the surrounding area — and in most cases we come to you, so you don't need to travel to us at all.
We recommend calling us first on 07769 804065 so we can discuss your issue and ensure we're available. This also means we can often give you an idea of the likely problem and cost before we even visit. Same-day appointments are often available.
We're flexible and aim to support our local community when they need us. We typically work Monday to Friday 9am–6pm but we understand tech emergencies don't always happen during office hours. Call or WhatsApp us and we'll do our best to help.
Both options are available. For most repairs we can come to your home or office across Farnham, Aldershot, Guildford and the wider Surrey area. On-site visits start at £75 for the first hour. If you prefer to drop your device off, we can arrange that too — just call ahead.
We cover Farnham, Aldershot, Guildford, Alton, Fleet, Bordon, Haslemere, Godalming, Farnborough, Camberley and the wider Surrey and Hampshire border area. Not sure if we cover you? Just call and we'll let you know.
Pricing & Payment
Our diagnostic service starts at £49.99 which covers a full hardware and software check and a written quotation for any additional work needed. On-site visits start at £75 for the first hour. All other repairs are quoted upfront before we start any work — you'll never receive a surprise bill.
Always. We provide a clear, written quote before beginning any repair. You are never under any obligation to proceed, and we will never start work without your explicit approval. No hidden costs, ever.
For our data recovery service, we operate a strict no data, no fee policy — you only pay if we successfully recover your files. For other repairs, if we diagnose the issue and find it's uneconomical to repair, we'll tell you honestly and only charge the diagnostic fee.
Yes — we offer a 60-day warranty on all parts and labour. If the same issue recurs within 60 days of your repair, we'll fix it at no additional charge.
Screen Repairs
Yes. We provide professional screen replacement for the entire MacBook range (Air and Pro) as well as all major Windows laptop brands including Dell, HP, Lenovo, ASUS and Acer. Screen replacements start from £149 depending on the model.
Costs vary depending on the model and screen type. We can usually give you an accurate quote quickly if you provide the model number — found on the bottom of your laptop or in System Information. Call us with the model number and we'll give you a price straight away.
Often, yes. A flickering or black screen can be caused by a loose internal cable or a failing backlight rather than a broken panel — which is a much cheaper fix. Our £49.99 diagnostic service will identify the exact cause so you don't pay for a new screen unless you genuinely need one.
Service & Repairs
Yes — we specialise in both Apple Mac (MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, iMac, Mac Mini) and all Windows-based PCs and laptops. Unlike most repair shops that focus on one or the other, we're experts in both platforms.
Absolutely. Slow performance is one of the most common issues we fix. In most cases, upgrading to an SSD (solid-state drive) makes a dramatic difference — often making a 7-year-old machine run faster than it did when it was new. We also offer software optimisation, RAM upgrades and malware removal, which all contribute to speed improvements.
Most common repairs — virus removal, speed upgrades, screen replacements and battery replacements — are completed same-day. More complex repairs such as liquid damage or logic board work may take 2–3 days. We'll always give you a realistic timeframe before we start.
Yes. We offer a specialist custom build service for high-end workstations — whether for gaming, video editing, 3D rendering or data analysis. We also offer a build-only service if you've already purchased your own components. Contact us to discuss your requirements.
We can help with printer setup, driver issues, wireless connectivity problems and general troubleshooting. We don't carry out internal mechanical repairs on printers, but in most cases connection and software issues can be resolved during a standard on-site visit.
Yes — for many software issues, virus removal and configuration problems, we can connect to your computer remotely and fix the problem without needing to visit. Remote support is often faster and more convenient. Call us to discuss whether your issue is suitable for remote resolution.
Data & Privacy
Your privacy is our priority. We handle all devices with extreme care and do not access your personal files unless it is strictly necessary for the repair — and only ever with your explicit permission. We strongly recommend ensuring you have a backup of all your data before any repair.
Yes. We offer a dedicated data recovery service with a 92% success rate on most drive failures. We recover photos, documents, emails and business files from failed hard drives, corrupted partitions and accidentally formatted storage. Crucially — no data recovered means no charge.
Yes — we always recommend backing up your data before any repair, even if the repair doesn't involve your storage. While we take every precaution, hardware can sometimes fail unexpectedly during a repair. If you're not sure how to back up, we can help with that too.
Don't panic — but do act quickly. Avoid entering any passwords or banking details until the machine is clean. Call us on 07769 804065 and we can often resolve virus infections the same day, either remotely or with a visit. Our virus removal service starts from £59.
